Richard A. White was born on April 14th, 1952, in Oak Park, Illinois, whereby taking an early interest in reading, the movies, and television. Among his favorite shows were The Honeymooners, Sgt. Bilko, and Lost in Space.

He especially enjoyed the Jack Benny Show. As a boy, Richard aspired to become a comedy writer, though his mother had other plans, turning him into a musician instead. In 1975, Richard joined the U.S. Marines, and spent 20 years as a bandsman. During his hitch he penned a screenplay. Soon after, he acquired the services of a literary agent. In the end, however, his agent fell just short of closing the deal.

Upon retirement, Richard converted his screenplay into a novel: Cosmic Dust. A few years later he revised Cosmic Dust, and renamed it Cosmic Dust and the Eternal Code. His only hope is that everyone everywhere will take the time to read this exhilarating, one-of-a-kind comedy. In the meantime, Richard is enjoying retirement in North Las Vegas, Nevada, where he continues to write.
